“ The atmosphere is wonderful. To be polite to others who wish to have that amazing experience also, there is a max 2 hour dine in time. THIS MAKES SO MUCH DAMN SENSE. Please go if you get the chance. In certain days there is live entertainment, and they always accept reservations. The FRIED HONEY CORNBREAD will make you have a foodgasm, lolol Just an FYI. They are proud to have Veterans. I HAVE FOUND MY HAPPY PLACE.... THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR YESTERDAY. . LOVE COACH ”
“ Despite a bit of a wait after being seated, the food came out shortly after ordering and everything was delicious. The service was good, music is a bit loud for dinner service but there was also a live DJ so that's to be expected. Overall a great dining experience. Parking is terrible. I recommend the pay lot on the corner of 3rd and Gay. From there it's a 5 minute walk to the front door. ”
“ Delicious dining experience. Would recommend dining in for special menu items, but the carryout menu is just as delicious! The service I received from Brittni was professional, but like family and I also had an opportunity to meet the owners. We emitted the perch and chicken dishes with sides of collard greens, macaroni and cheese, baked beans and sweet potatoes. Our appetizer is the only item we remembered to capture a photo of because the food looked so delicious, we just wanted to eat. The appetizer is a dine-in only menu item and let me tell you, it is worth staying for, trust me! I would highly recommend dining at Soul 2 Go. You will not be disappointed! ”
“ This was such a cute space and cool vibe. The staff were very hospitable. The service was efficient. The food was good, sufficient portions and affordable. I'll definitely return if I'm ever in town again. ”
“ Hands down one of the best soul food spots in Columbus! Soul 2 Go Cafe truly lives up to the name—it fed my body and my soul. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was welcoming and down-to-earth, and the staff made me feel like family. You can tell the food is made with love. Now let’s talk about the food—pure comfort on a plate. I had the fried fish, mac and cheese, yams, and greens, and every single bite hit the spot. The fish was crispy and seasoned to perfection, the yams were melt-in-your-mouth good, and don’t get me started on the mac—it was creamy, cheesy, and exactly how it should be. Even the lemonade was fire. I’m adding some photos so y’all can see for yourselves. If you’re ever in Columbus and looking for authentic soul food that tastes like a Sunday at grandma’s house, pull up to Soul 2 Go. You won’t be disappointed. Support Black-owned. Support quality. Support Soul 2 Go Cafe. RAHEEM WAS AN AMAZING SERVER!!!!!! ”
“ I approached Soul 2 Go with a bit of skepticism, but I couldn’t be happier that I decided to give it a try. The food was absolutely incredible—it felt like I was enjoying my grandmother's home-cooked meals all over again. From the flavorful chicken wings to the creamy macaroni and sweet yams, every bite was a delight. And even though I usually don’t care for pound cake, I have to say that pound cake was nothing short of amazing! I will most definitely try this place again ”
“ We stopped in for lunch had a great time, service was fast and friendly. The food was fantastic, we’re definitely planning on coming back. We will be bringing friends next time. I can’t wait to try other things on the menu. We tried the blackened chicken pasta it was delicious, so flavorful. Also the chicken wings with two sides, macaroni and cheese and greens. Both were delicious and greens were perfectly cooked not too mushy. We then got some dessert tired the peach cobbler and pound cake. We would definitely recommend. We noticed they have happy hour, so we will be back for that. ”
“ I love this place. The food was great. Service was wonderful, everyone was very nice and accommodating. The atmosphere was cool too. Prices were reasonable and you get a good amount of food. I was a little hesitant to try because of the mixed reviews about the whole establishment. I’m glad I decided to see for myself. We tried the cornbread with chicken tenderloin , the sampler plate with chicken wing, yams, greens and Mac and cheese. We also had perch platter, green beans, mashed potatoes and catfish platter with Mac and cheese and cabbage. All of the food was very taste except, for me, the mashed potatoes. They did not taste homemade to me but that’s just my personal opinion. I will definitely return to try more off the menu ”
